Nichirin Realms ("we", "us", "the server") operates the Nichirin Realms Minecraft server, the Nichirin Realms launcher, and this website. This policy explains what information we handle and why. By using the launcher, the server, or this site, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

• Account & authentication. You sign in with your Microsoft/Minecraft account. Authentication is handled entirely by Microsoft and Mojang — we never see or store your password. After sign-in we receive your public Minecraft username and account ID (UUID). The launcher stores a login session token locally on your own device; it is not sent to us.
• Gameplay data. When you connect to the server we process your username, UUID, IP address, and in-game activity (positions, inventories, chat, commands) as needed to run the game and for moderation and anti-cheat.
• Launcher data. The launcher stores its settings and logs locally on your device. These are not transmitted to us unless you choose to share a log for support.
• Community. If you join our Discord, your interactions there are governed by Discord's own privacy policy in addition to this one.

How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain, and secure the server and launcher.
• To enforce our rules — moderation, anti-cheat, and handling reports.
• To diagnose problems and provide support when you ask for it.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share data only with the services required to run Nichirin Realms: Microsoft/Mojang (authentication), our hosting provider (server infrastructure), and Discord (community). We may disclose information if required by law.

Data Retention

Server and moderation logs are kept only as long as needed for operation and safety, then removed or rotated. Locally stored launcher data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the launcher.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data we handle. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we never handle your account password, which reduces risk.

Children's Privacy

Minecraft and this server are subject to Mojang's and Microsoft's age requirements. If you are below the age of digital consent in your country, please use the service only with a parent or guardian's permission.

Your Choices

You can sign out of the launcher at any time to clear the locally cached session. To request removal of moderation records associated with your account, contact us on Discord.

We may update this policy as the server evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
